What's the difference between a contract repository and a shared drive?
A drive stores files; a repository knows what's in them. In a repository each agreement carries structured data — dates, costs, renewal terms — so you can filter, sort, alert, and report. A folder of PDFs can't tell you what's terminating in 90 days.
Can I control who downloads original documents?
Yes — download rights are a separate permission from viewing. A Viewer role can read documents in-app but can't download originals, and every download by anyone is audit-logged.
How do documents get their data filled in?
